The Black Toe 14s originally released back in 1998 following the end of Jordan’s second championship three-peat, with that silhouette being the last signature sneaker the GOAT actually wore on-court before he rejoined the league with the Washington Wizards. In 2006, a retro of sorts arrived with the quilted stitch pattern and perforations — a detail unseen in the original “Black Toe” version, but evident in others. It wasn’t until 2014 that we saw a true re-issue, complete with the smooth white leather upper panels.
Jordan fans will have to wait a while before adding these to their collection as they won’t be available until the final quarter of the new year.
